Interesting or nice about this vacancy
Do you want to make a difference for other young people in Groningen? Then volunteering at @ease might be for you. As a volunteer, you offer a listening ear to peers who are not feeling their best. You do this at our drop-in center in Groningen and via the online chat.
@ease is there for young people aged 12 to 25 who want to vent. About stress, issues at home, pressure to perform, or simply because they are feeling stuck. The heart of @ease is formed by young volunteers: our peers. This peer-to-peer approach is unique in the Netherlands and proven effective. Research shows that young people feel safe, seen, and heard precisely because they can talk to someone their own age who doesn't immediately make a diagnosis, but simply listens.
Tasks and duties
Your role as a volunteer:
As a volunteer, you are the conversation partner for young people:
You have conversations with young people who want to share their story.
You always do that together with a fellow volunteer.
On location or via chat.
