Walking link: Star Walk

You have probably spent some time looking at the stars and marveled at all that can be seen in the dark on a clear evening. But what exactly is the deal with stars and planets, and with the moon and the Milky Way? And how do you recognize the different constellations? You will learn all about it during this stargazing walk.

Because you can never know in advance whether it will be clear, two reserve dates have been scheduled. If you do not hear from us, the walk starts on September 3 at 9:30 PM. Should the weather be unfavorable, you will receive a message from us before then. We will then switch to one of the reserve dates:

• Reservation date 1: Friday, September 4.
• Reserve date 2: Thursday, September 10.

Hi, I am Nathan Brinkman, translator, editor, copywriter, and nature guide on Schiermonnikoog. I have been leading stargazing excursions on the island for quite a few years, and I think it would be fun to introduce people 'on the mainland' to the wonderful world of the stars, planets, and the universe as well.
