Fair Future Generators is part of the Social Service Program and is open to everyone between the ages of 18 and 29. No experience or education is required.

Do you want to develop yourself and contribute to a better world? Then the Fair Future Generators climate traineeship is for you!

As a Fair Future Generator at Milieudefensie, anything is possible! This climate traineeship gives you the chance to gain work experience while simultaneously being active for your studies. We collaborate with NGOs and other civil society organizations committed to the climate. For example, you could help out at a food forest, campaign, or organize a sustainable event, fully tailored to your studies and interests.

What is Fair Future Generators?

Fair Future Generators is Milieudefensie 's climate traineeship, part of Social Service Time Netherlands (MDT). For four months, you work together with other young people, attend training sessions, and learn all about climate justice .

What are you going to do?

After an intake interview, we will match you with a climate project in your area (minimum 8 hours per week). Think of:

  • campaign against polluting companies
  • marketing and communication for a city garden
  • organizing sustainable events
  • Involving local residents in energy projects.

What do we offer?

Who are we looking for?

Are you looking for an extra challenge, an internship, or a study assignment, or are you currently taking a gap year? Are you between 18 and 29 years old, do you live in the Netherlands, and do you want to make an impact? Then we are looking for you!
