- Especially for you as a new employee, a learning program from the Victim Support Academy is ready. You will follow this online, in a classroom setting, and in the workplace.
- You will receive guidance from experienced colleagues.
- You work together in a close-knit team and can always rely on your colleagues.
Tasks and duties
This will be your job
After a traumatic event, a wide range of emotions come into play, and victims and surviving relatives have to deal with various agencies. You inform victims about the criminal proceedings and support them in exercising victims' rights and obtaining compensation for material or immaterial damage. You also assist the victim and advocate for their interests during the court hearing.
Skills and qualities
What are you bringing?
- A completed higher professional or university education in the legal field.
- Extensive work experience in the legal field.
- You are a good listener and dare to stand up for the interests of the victim.
- Thanks to your empathy, people feel seen and heard.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language.
- You possess digital skills; you can work with a computer and are willing to learn how to work with a new program.
