You work with a high degree of independence and perform this work primarily from home, with occasional meetings at the main location.
You get a behind-the-scenes look at a small, informal organization that has been successfully dedicated to (school) children in the city of Potosí, Bolivia, for over 30 years.
The board consists of three people, and board meetings are held in a relaxed atmosphere at the secretary's home. You are welcome to attend if you wish, to get a feel for our work and our organization.
Tasks and duties
Up until now, the secretary (who also serves as the contact person) has maintained the website and social media (particularly Facebook and Instagram). However, due to a lack of time, this is coming under considerable pressure. What a shame! It is very important to show who we are and what we do, and to tell (potential) donors and funds about our activities/projects.
Initially, you will be asked to post provided texts, but soon you will be allowed to create the content yourself based on provided texts and images.
We are open to suggestions and improvements!
We are an informal organization, but naturally, we take our work seriously.
Skills and qualities
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, able to distinguish between main and subordinate points.
- Accurate.
- Experience with social media/website management.
