Interesting or nice about this vacancy
It is work that makes you enthusiastic and happy; you feel right at home. Beautiful, diverse fields. Very interesting and educational for anyone interested in ecological management and flora and fauna. We have a pleasant and relaxed team (6 people).
Having a friendly chat with visitors is also a nice bonus.
Tasks and duties
- Weeding and mowing.
- Recognize beautiful plants and leave them alone.
- Sawing and pruning.
- Are you not a gardener or do you not have a green thumb? No problem, you learn by doing.
- Creative and/or handy? Then you can help for one or more days a year with: making partitions for the fields, constructing small fences using the tree trunks we saw down, assembling an insect hotel, repairing the jetty over the water, maintaining the birdhouses, etc.
Skills and qualities
- An eye for plants and animals.
- Attention, love, and interest.
- Willing to work with hand tools.

Events are posted on the (public) Facebook page, such as a guided mushroom excursion and the annual dredging day. (Removing aquatic plants by hand and shoveling mud.)
