Do you love art, numbers, and graphs? And do you enjoy connecting people? Then we are looking for you!
The KnuffelKunst Foundation aims to promote hugging, touching, and connecting people, as well as to stimulate conversation surrounding hugging and touching. In doing so, the foundation seeks to combat loneliness and mutual hostility and distrust—which have taken on worrying forms following the recent crisis years.
Tasks and duties
- Managing the finances of Knuffelkunst.
- Keeping track of income and expenses.
- Preparing the annual budget.
- Taking care of the bookkeeping.
- Arranging payments and invoices.
- Preparing financial reports for the board.
- Preparing the annual accounts.
- Searching for opportunities for subsidies or funds.
- Advising the board on financial matters.
- Participate in board meetings (3 times a year).
These tasks take approximately 3 hours per month on average. As treasurer, you ensure that Knuffelkunst remains financially healthy and that there are funds for art projects that connect people.
Skills and qualities
- Financial management : preparing budgets and monitoring cash flows.
- Accounting : keeping track of income, expenses, and taxes.
- Reporting : preparing financial reports and annual reports.
- Fundraising : applying for grants and organizing fundraising.
- Reliability : handling money accurately and responsibly.
- Communication : share clear financial information with the board.
