We drive door-to-door in the neighborhood with electric cars and ensure that residents can once again actively participate in community life. This includes grocery shopping and visiting friends, but also going independently to the doctor, physiotherapy, hospital, and/or day care.
As a confidential counsellor, you are the first point of contact regarding transgressive behaviour. Follow-up processes will be initiated based on your knowledge, experience, and expertise.
Tasks and duties
You are the point of contact for both internal employees/volunteers and customers who wish to report a transgressive incident anonymously or discuss it.
Based on experience and expertise, follow-up steps are monitored and planned.
Skills and qualities
- You are able to present yourself and the subject of social safety and sexual harassment to the target groups.
- You can have a confidential conversation with the complainant, the accused, or the association.
- You can reflect.
- You can handle confidentiality and resistance.
- You can handle the emotions of the person making the report, the accused, the victim, and those around them.
- You are capable of cooperating to implement policy.
- You know which procedures can be followed in the event of a (potential) incident.
- You have sufficient knowledge of the procedural aspects of filing a complaint.
- You are familiar with the social services map regarding transgressive behavior.
- You are familiar with the individual and group processes at play in transgressive behavior.
- You have knowledge of the internal organizational structure and culture.

We also run a project against loneliness, The Museumshuttle, in collaboration with the Groninger Museum. For this purpose, we have a passenger van equipped with a wheelchair lift, which we use to pick up participants from both the city and the province of Groningen and bring them back home.
