Tuinindestad is a piece of urban nature where the wind blows pleasantly through your hair. It is located behind Vinkhuizen in the Westpark. That seems far, but it is only a 15-minute bike ride from the Martinitoren.
People meet each other, outside in the garden or inside the living room. They drink a cup of coffee, ask a question, or buy a plant. Children play on the nature playground or pet the rabbits. Sometimes there is a course or workshop.
Together we make Tuinindestad. A pleasant working atmosphere and collegiality are important. Tuinindestad is not a rigid organization. Everyone is equal and comes and goes at their own time.
There is always plenty to do and experience, but above all, we are open to your ideas.
Tasks and duties
After more than two years of construction, Tuinindestad is 'ready for use'. We have a fantastic building with a large kitchen on grounds featuring nurseries, a vegetable garden, a camping field, and a playground. We are looking for people with a creative spirit who can further shape the grounds as a "magical place".
- For example, as a builder, designer, or developer of garden castles (we're just throwing out some crazy ideas; perhaps you have completely different ones).
- As a programmer of an activity or activity program (what would you like to do with us & with or for whom?).
- As a food inventor or beverage brewer (for example, we have a food dehydrator where you can dry fruit, but perhaps you will come up with something completely different).
Whatever you come up with as you wander around here. Tuinindestad is a wonderful spot, a 15-minute bike ride from the Martinitoren, where you can unleash your creativity to the fullest. A place where nothing is required, but (almost) anything is possible. Just come by!

Additional information
For this vacancy, we are looking for entrepreneurial people, which means that your work (if you generate additional revenue) can eventually be compensated.
