In autumn, nature lets go. The leaves fall, fruits are harvested, and the pace slowly slows down.
That is precisely why I find autumn a beautiful season to pause for a moment. To look at what you no longer need and at everything the past season has brought you. What are you grateful for? What fruits are you allowed to reap? And what would you like to take with you into the time ahead?
During this Mind-Walk, we walk through the city park and alternate walking with exercises from Eastern and Western movement traditions, breathing and relaxation exercises, and moments of mindfulness and silence.
For me, Mind-Walk is above all about enjoying being outdoors. Getting moving, clearing your head a bit, and catching your breath. A valuable moment for yourself to recharge and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This course is taught by Margriet Hekkert: "I bring peace to the lives of people whose world has been turned upside down. I do this drawing on my expertise as a trainer and my personal experience."
My specialties are personal development, grief processing, and rediscovering meaning. I prefer working in nature, because peace reigns there, problems naturally become lighter, and we discover new paths together. You can hire me for retreats, coaching, reflection walks, and Mind-Walk walks in a beautiful natural spot right around the corner.
Additional information:
- We will meet at the Stadspark community center.
- Coffee and tea will be ready for you at 10:15. Afterwards, the walk through the City Park starts, about 2 to 3 km.
- The walks always take place, unless the weather conditions are code yellow, orange, or red. It is advisable to dress just a little warmer. Because we regularly stand or sit still for an exercise, you will cool down faster. Bring a bottle of water and a sitting mat or plastic bag to sit on.
