Interesting or nice about this vacancy

  • You work with people and get to know other people with autism.
  • There is room for your style of leading and collaborating.
  • You have a real influence on how our organization works and grows.
  • You will receive an extensive onboarding period and support.
  • You can do this volunteer work from home, from anywhere in the Netherlands or Belgium. All contact takes place via email, WhatsApp, and Teams.

Tasks and duties

Autisme Digitaal is looking for an autistic volunteer who keeps an overview, connects people, and is willing to help think about how volunteers can work together pleasantly.

As Sector Manager for Staff, you play a central role within the organization. You not only support collaboration among volunteers but also implement the policy and direction of Autisme Digitaal more broadly.

Together with the other sector leaders, you form the link between the board, coordinators, and volunteers. This means that you help translate signals from the organization into policy — and conversely, help make plans practical and workable.

What are the tasks?

  • You coordinate regularly with the board and coordinators.
  • You lead the two other sector leaders.
  • You support coordinators in the implementation of the volunteer policy.
  • You help ensure a pleasant and autism-friendly work environment.

Skills and qualities

  • You belong to our target group (you have autism and are 18+)
  • You have experience leading a (small) team.
  • You can translate policy into practice.
  • You are good at communicating and listening.
