Are you organized, creative, and do you enjoy arranging things? Do you get energy from organizing events and collaborating with different people? The Hortus Botanicus Haren is looking for an event management assistant to help with the preparations and organization of our activities and events.
Tasks and duties
What are you going to do:
- Assisting with the organization and execution of events and public activities
- Maintain contact with participants, partners, and volunteers
- Keeping track of the event email
- Create and maintain activity registration forms
- Schedule appointments with future partners and prepare meetings
- Contribute to thinking about, support, and update schedules
- Assisting with the practical preparation of events
- Contribute ideas for new activities and collaborations
- Taking minutes during meetings
Skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Can maintain a good overview and create structure
- Can work independently and shows initiative
- Can work well together
- Is a strong communicator and social
- Has an affinity with nature, culture, and events
- The space to contribute your own ideas
- Flexibility: You are present at the Hortus for at least one half-day per week and can work partly from home.
