Are you creative, crazy about social media, or do you sometimes even dare to stand in front of the camera?
Here you get the chance to share stories of the garden, the plants, and the people behind them with thousands of followers.
The Hortus is a place where nature, culture, and education come together. With your content, you take people behind the scenes, showcase the most beautiful spots in the garden, and ensure that our online community continues to grow.
Tasks and duties
- Managing our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
- Taking photos, videos, and reels.
- Taking visitors along on a journey through stories, seasons, and special places in the Hortus
- Occasionally standing in front of the camera myself as the online face of the Hortus
- Brainstorming with the team about a content calendar for the entire year
- Brainstorming with the team about creative content concepts
- Translating trends and interactive formats for the Hortus
- Working from our content compass: wonder, admire, and close/accessible
Skills and qualities
What we are looking for:
- A creative person/student/graduate (MBO/HBO/WO) in the field of media, communication, marketing, or a similar field.
- You have experience creating content for social media.
- You have a flair for storytelling and know what works well online; you enjoy coming up with ideas and executing them yourself.
- You work independently, contribute ideas to the team, and feel comfortable standing in front of the camera yourself.
- Preferred: Experience with video editing (CapCut), experience with Meta Business Suite and online campaigns
