Tasks and duties
A refugee buddy helps status holders find their way around the city of Groningen. You assist with practical questions and building a social network. Thanks to your help, status holders feel at home in Groningen sooner and participate in our society. You give them temporary support and motivate them to do as much as possible themselves.
As a refugee buddy, you will be active for approximately half a day per week. This decreases as the status holder stays longer in Groningen and becomes increasingly self-reliant. We ask you to commit to being a refugee buddy for about six months.
