We are looking for board members: general member and/or financial expertise and/or managing social media and/or willingness to approach potential sponsors
We are looking for board members for the following tasks:
- General member
- Financial expertise
- Approaching potential sponsors
Additionally, we are looking for 1 or 2 tournament director(s) for the 2027 tournament.
A small amount is available for this. This year, help is already welcome with coordinating, for example, the senior/compact groups/quadathlons or side activities, or with coordinating the entire flow of furniture or materials.
It is not necessary that you already know how to play chess to perform this function.

Het organiseren van het schaakfestival Groningen in de periode rond de kerstmis. Jonge sporters in staat stellen zich te ontwikkelen en normen te behalen en schaakliefhebbers een sportieve en fijne uitdaging te bieden. Daarnaast het ontwikkelen van een denksport festival, d.w.z. naast schaken ook andere denksporten zoals dammen, bridgen, go en games opnemen.
