We are a dynamic volunteer organization in the heart of Vries with a wide range of activities: from the garden to workshops, from children's parties to communal meals, art studios, a shop, and a woodworking workshop. Between 100 and 200 people visit us every week. In addition to the regular activity groups held during 8 sessions, the number of workshops, visitors, and external groups is growing, taking place during the day, but also increasingly often in the evenings or on weekends. To ensure quality, make everyone feel welcome, and provide a hospitable reception, we are expanding our Hospitality team. The aim is to give hospitality a face during every session from Monday to Friday.

Tasks and duties

As a host, you are our director of the day, ensuring that everyone feels seen and at home. Tasks include welcoming visitors, serving coffee and tea, managing sales from the studio shop, giving a tour, and telling the story of Plaats de Wereld.

Skills and qualities

Who are we looking for?

• Are you hospitable, flexible, and independent?
• Are you enthusiastic about Plaats de Wereld's mission to share inspiration for a fairer and greener world and colorful encounters?
• Are you available for an average of one half-day or more often per month?
• Do you make connections easily, do you enjoy dynamism, and are you practical and proactive?
