Additional information

Fablab Groningen is a digital workshop accessible to everyone, where people are encouraged to make things themselves using various manufacturing techniques, such as computer-controlled prototyping machines, and where the open sharing of designs and ideas is encouraged. Core values of the Fablab are development (of the organization itself and the environment), open innovation, and sustainability, just like at other Fablabs.

In the coming years, Fablab Groningen aims to place extra emphasis on the role of a sustainable and innovative maker culture in education and the professional field in the region. We are preferably seeking candidates with a role or background in the (creative) manufacturing industry and/or education in the Northern Netherlands.
