Tasks and duties

Through Wijkbedrijf Selwerd, we help people in the neighborhood with the maintenance of their gardens. People who have lost track of things, are no longer physically able to manage it themselves, and/or do not have the money for a gardener can ask Wijkbedrijf Selwerd for help to make their garden beautiful again. This is great for both the resident and the neighborhood!

• You visit people.
• You discuss their wishes and create a plan. Afterwards, you assist with the planning, gathering the necessary materials, and help with the execution.
• You conduct the interviews together with the paid staff member on this project, and he will also help you with the rest.

Skills and qualities

• Knowledge of plants and gardens.
• Physically (reasonably) healthy.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Can maintain an overview and plan.
• Affinity with the target group.
• Living in Selwerd or near Selwerd is a plus.
