Who are we

The Humanist Association Groningen Branch is a local branch of the Humanist Association. With a dedicated group of volunteers, we organize lectures, meetings, and gatherings where our members and interested individuals can engage in conversation about topics close to our hearts. You can come to us for meaning, conversation, and humanist content. In addition, we have an active Young Humanists section. We send out a newsletter once a month and post about 7 to 8 activities on the website each month.

Tasks and duties

We are looking for a student or volunteer who enjoys supporting our online communication. You will keep our website up to date, send newsletters, and contribute to the visibility of our branch. You will also support the Young Humanists with their online communication. The time commitment is 3-5 hours per week, with a maximum of 12 hours per month, which you can schedule flexibly.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Tracking and maintaining the department page on the website.
• Drafting and sending newsletters (1 fixed monthly newsletter and 1 occasional extra newsletter)

In consultation, the vacancy can be expanded to include managing social media accounts.

Skills and qualities

We ask:

• Affinity with humanist values.
• Experience with or interest in digital communication and/or web management.
