Would you enjoy rolling up your sleeves in our thrift store in Groningen? Do you have a keen eye and see value in second-hand products? Do you want to contribute to a circular Netherlands and help children grow out of poverty in a sustainable way? And are you willing to dedicate at least four hours a week to a good cause? Then you are very welcome as a volunteer in our store!
Tasks and duties
You speak to visitors of the thrift store in a friendly manner and ensure that our customers leave the store feeling satisfied.
- You pay for the products via our POS system.
- You answer the phone and respond to telephone inquiries in a friendly and correct manner.
Skills and qualities
This is you:
- You can work independently but enjoy being part of a team.
- You derive pleasure from contact with other people.
- You are precise.
Additional information

Wij zijn een kringloopwinkel waarvan, samen met andere kringloopwinkels van Red een Kind, de netto opbrengst gaat naar een goed doel. De doelstelling is om kinderen uit armoede te laten groeien. Dit doen we o.a. in ontwikkelingslanden als Kenia, Oeganda, Rwanda. Duurzame noodhulp in DR Congo, Zuid Soedan en Somalië. Een combinatie van beide wordt gegeven in Malawi en Burundi.
Daarnaast wilen we bijdragen door het hergebruik van ingebrachte artikelen aan een circulaire economie.
