Tasks and duties
Would you like to offer support during church services at one of ZINN's locations? Then we would love to get in touch with you!
On Sunday mornings, a beautiful service takes place for the residents of ZINN, prepared by our spiritual caregivers. For the church services, we are looking for volunteers who can guide visitors during the services. In addition to the services, themed celebrations are also organized on specific occasions. As a church service volunteer, you will be part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers.
Volunteers take care of:
- Preparing the church hall (no heavy work).
- Pick up residents and bring them back afterwards.
- Serving coffee and tea.
- Assisting residents during the service.
Skills and qualities
Do you recognize yourself in the following points?
- People-oriented and social: You are attuned to the needs of the older target group and are able to connect. You respect the wishes and boundaries of the residents and offer them the care and attention they deserve.
- Affinity with the target group: preferably, you have knowledge of the elderly, for example people with dementia or somatic conditions.
- Commitment: you are willing to dedicate yourself to others and enjoy working together in a team of volunteers and professionals.
- Availability: you are available on Sundays (the schedule is made in consultation) and you are available for at least six months.
