Volunteer work in Groningen South

Dear resident of De Hoogte, are you looking for a volunteer position and would you like to help out? Then we are looking for you.

Forum Libraries Lewenborg, Beijum, Vinkhuizen, Selwerd, De Wijert, Haren, Ten Boer, and Hoogkerk are looking for enthusiastic staff for Saturdays!

Every year, we set up a special ‘own’ spot on our festival grounds for our youngest visitors. For them, we organize performances and various workshops.

In addition to the technical crew, we are looking for volunteers who can provide support.

For the many performance locations (Noorderplantsoen and Downtown), Noorderzon is looking for people to ensure that our audience can enjoy attending our performances.

You welcome the public with a smile and ensure that the park looks spick and span!

Behind the scenes, you are indispensable. You ensure that everything is clean and ready for use again.

The largest group of volunteers working at Noorderzon are our hospitality volunteers.

A number of sales points have been set up where the public can buy a ticket in person and also immediately get information about the festival.

This involves assisting the teacher during photography technique lessons. Studio management, setting up and clearing away equipment. Potentially minor maintenance.

Support the board, maintain contact with companies and organizations, and help solicit decommissioned ICT equipment for low-income families.

If you have a knack for numbers, we are looking for you. We are standing up to open up the topic of stigma regarding Mental Vulnerability.

Will you be presenting and moderating the Living Library? The theme is making stigma regarding mental vulnerability open for discussion.

You coordinate the social activation project Daadkracht met Draadkracht. A place for women who enjoy working with textiles together with others.

We are looking for someone to take on the organization of the annual national collection in Groningen and the surrounding area. There are 80-100 collectors on the list.

Would you like to come and read aloud at the petting zoo?

A 50-year-old woman in a wheelchair loves nature and animals immensely; will you go outside with her?

A lady in her mid-sixties would like a companion for company. Playing games, a game of Scrabble or Klaverjassen.
